Premier League Girls Football

The Premier League fund part of the girls programme for Reading Community Trust, offering girls and women aged 11+ the chance to learn and play football, develop their social skills and have fun. The girls and women’s football programme runs throughout Berkshire, delivering sessions in secondary schools, colleges and universities. The aim of the programme is to engage with 244 participants during the 2016/2017 season while encouraging long term participation. From this programme we have given young females the opportunity to become a volunteer, refferee, coach, or an elite player by providing them with the correct pathway and supporting them on their journey.

Primary Girls Football

Our Aim is to also engage with girls aged between 5-10 years old and encourage them to take part in a sporting activity on a regular basis, using football as the main driver. During term time, this programme currently delivers girls only after school clubs in Primary schools within the Berkshire area. Girls that attend these sessions are given the opportunity to access grassroots football, or the chance to attend our very own Girls Only Development Centre (see below). During the holidays we also provide Girls only soccer schools, see below for more information.
