FEMALE FOOTBALL

Primary Girls Football

Our Aim is to also engage with girls aged between 5-10 years old and encourage them to take part in a sporting activity on a regular basis, using football as the main driver. During term time, this programme currently delivers girls only after school clubs in Primary schools within the Berkshire area. Girls that attend these sessions are given the opportunity to access grassroots football, or the chance to attend our very own Girls Only Development Centre (see below). During the holidays we also provide Girls only soccer schools, see below for more information.

‘Girls on the ball’

Development & Advanced Centres

The main focus is to help all players learn and improve all techniques involved within the game of football. To also give them the chance to show off their skills in a structured, fun and engaging environment. All coaches will follow the same syllabus, and ensure all areas within the game are covered throughout the 13 week block. The Development centre is the first step on our player pathway, with the Advanced centre being the second. From our centres we have had a number of our players progress into playing for the Reading FC Regional Talent Club (RTC).
